The PE artificial Christmas tree is closer to the real tree in shape. This is due to the different production processes of the two. The leaves of the PE Christmas tree come from the mold of the injection machine. The more delicate the mold is, the more delicate each PE leaf will be. The leaves of the PVC Christmas tree are relatively rough because they are only cut by a blade and cannot directly generate a whole leaf like a PE mold.
In Terms Of Customer
The audience of PVC Christmas trees is mainly low-end customers. They need a large number of artificial Christmas trees and require very low prices. In this case, PVC Christmas trees are very suitable for their needs. In contrast, PE Christmas trees are needed by some artificial Christmas tree customers with relatively high quality requirements. They require more realistic artificial Christmas trees. In recent times, the demand for PE Christmas tree materials and machinery is gradually increasing, while the demand for PVC Christmas trees is constantly decreasing.
In Terms Of Complexity Of Production
Apart from the same branch tying and subsequent steps, I personally think that the production of PVC Christmas trees is more complicated than that of PE Christmas trees. The production of PVC Christmas trees requires three steps before tying branches: film cutting, leaf drawing, and leaf cutting, using three machines, while PE Christmas trees integrate this process by using a robotic arm, so it is relatively simpler. In addition, three machines mean higher learning costs and more possible problems, so injection molding machines are relatively more labor-saving.
In Terms Of Raw Materials Used
The raw materials used for PVC Christmas trees are PVC Christmas film and iron wire. The PE Christmas tree uses PE particles and PVC coated wire. The production process of PVC artificial Christmas trees is to continuously process the PVC Christmas film, and finally tie it into a normal artificial Christmas tree. The production process of PE artificial Christmas trees is to heat-melt the PE particles, condense and reshape them, and finally participate in the tying of artificial Christmas trees like PVC.
In Terms Of Machines Used

PVC:

4-line leaf drawing machine: The most important machine in PVC Christmas tree production, which processes PVC Christmas film into artificial Christmas tree leaves
Leaf cutting machine: The leaf cutting machine is divided into 6-line and 8-line, and there are slight differences between the two. The 6-wire leaf cutting machine can bend the ends of the artificial Christmas tree leaves into hooks to prevent possible punctures (sometimes customers will give such feedback), while the 8-wire leaf cutting machine does not have the function of bending hooks. Both can cut long artificial Christmas tree leaves into short artificial Christmas tree leaves.
PE:
PE Injection machine: used to hold raw materials and hot melt PE pellets, the core of the entire production
Robot arm: used to pick up raw materials and put the produced PE leaves on the shelf during the whole process
PE Mold: used to determine the shape of the leaves and condense with condensate.

Branch binding machine: used to bind leaves into artificial Christmas tree branches, automatic and semi-automatic can be selected according to your needs
Head binding machine: similar to the operation of the branch binding machine, used to bind the tree head of the Christmas tree.
Flock machine: If you need to decorate the Christmas tree with snow flock, this machine is also needed (need to be used with snow powder)
