Step 1: Confirm Your Needs And Whether There Is Enough Space To Place These Machines
- Demand: The production capacity of each machine is different. For example, a 4-line leaf drawing machine needs several leaf cutting machines to process all the PVC christmas tree leaves it produces. So before setting up the production line, you must confirm your needs so that the entire production process will not be wasted.
- Space: From the initial film cutting to the final branch binding, if you need machines for all of them, then you will need 5-6 machines in total. If some supporting machines are also within your consideration, then you will need more machines. So it is better to have a separate factory building to house these machines.

Step 2: Prepare The Relevant Machinery
From the processing of PVC Christmas film to the final splicing of artificial Christmas trees, you need to use a variety of machines. Below, I will introduce these machines to you.
- PVC Christmas film cutting machine: This machine is used to process the rolled PVC Christmas film and cut it into small width PVC Christmas film required for leaf pulling. Of course, if you directly purchase the processed PVC Christmas film, then this machine is not needed.
- Four-line leaf drawing machine: This machine is the core machine of the entire production. This machine processes PVC Christmas film into artificial Christmas tree leaves. The length of the entire machine is about 8 meters, and you need a lot of space to place this machine.
- Automatic christmas tree leaf cutting machine: The function of this machine is to cut the artificial long leaves produced by the leaf drawing machine into the length you need. This machine has two models. One is 6 holes, and the other is 8 holes. Each hole can handle one artificial Christmas tree leaf. In addition, the machine with 6 holes can bend the ends of the cut small leaves into hooks, and bend the ends of the leaves to prevent possible sharp punctures. Of course, this function can also be turned off.
- Christmas tree branch binding machine: The function of this machine is to bind small sections of artificial Christmas tree leaves into artificial Christmas tree branches. If you use hanging rings to install Christmas tree branches, you don’t need to use this artificial Christmas tree branches. If you don’t use hanging rings, you need to use another model of this machine to tie branches to the trunk.
- Artificial Christmas tree tree head binding machine: The use of this machine is similar to the tying machine. Compared with the versatility of ordinary tying machines, this tying machine is basically used to handle thick tube tying branches.
- Flock machine: This machine is used to decorate the finished artificial Christmas tree in the later stage, and simulate the snow scene of the Christmas tree by spraying snow powder. If you have this kind of decoration needs, then this machine is also what you need.
In addition to the main machines mentioned above, there are some auxiliary machines, machines for processing wire for tying branches, machines for processing hanging rings, etc. These additional machines will not be introduced here.
Step 3: Prepare Relevant Materials
The raw materials required for PVC artificial Christmas trees are relatively simple. If you use a different way of binding branches, you may not need some of the components.
- PVC Christmas film: The most important raw material. The entire PVC Christmas tree production process is the reprocessing process of PVC Christmas film.
- PET Christmas film: The new material that replaces PVC Christmas film is more environmentally friendly than PVC Christmas film, but it is not as good as PVC Christmas film in ductility. PVC Christmas film of the same length can produce more artificial Christmas tree leaves.
- Iron wire: It is processed together with PVC Christmas film on the production line and acts as the petiole of artificial Christmas tree leaves.
- Hanging ring: If the hanging ring is used to bind branches, this accessory is needed, and it is used together with hollow rivets to fix the artificial Christmas tree branches in the socket.
- Artificial Christmas tree feet: The support of artificial Christmas trees usually has two options: iron tree feet and plastic tree feet.
- Hollow rivets: Used in combination with hanging rings to fix artificial Christmas tree branches.
- Snow Flock: A decorative item used to add snow scenes to artificial Christmas trees. In addition to hand-sprinkled snow powder, it needs to be used with a flocking machine.
