Classification Of Artificial Christmas Trees

Artificial Christmas trees can be classified in many ways, such as production machinery, materials, and the way branches are tied. In this article, I will introduce some of the distinctions I know.

Leaf Christmas Tree

PE mold/mould

PE Injection Christmas Tree

1. Production Machinery

Production machinery is generally divided into two categories, one is leaf-type machinery, and the other is PE injection molding machinery. The distinction between these two types also leads to a distinction in artificial Christmas trees, with the most common leaf-type artificial Christmas trees represented by PVC Christmas trees, and the more realistic injection molding Christmas trees represented by PE Christmas trees.

Leaf Christmas trees are cheaper to make and are more acceptable to customers. Injection Christmas trees are more expensive, due to the higher price of raw materials and they look more realistic.

2. Material

The materials used in different artificial Christmas trees are clearly distinguished. Here they can be divided into PVC Christmas trees, PET Christmas trees, and PE Christmas trees.

PVC Christmas tree: The raw material of PVC artificial Christmas tree is PVC Christmas film. This material has good temperature resistance, ductility, and tear resistance. These excellent material properties make PVC Christmas film very suitable for leaf processing.

PET Christmas tree: PET artificial Christmas tree and PVC artificial Christmas tree belong to the same category of leaf artificial Christmas tree. PET refers to PET Christmas film. This is a new raw material that has not appeared for long. PET Christmas film is more environmentally friendly than PVC Christmas film. For the environment, PET material is a better choice. However, due to the characteristics of the material, PET material is weaker than PVC material in ductility, which means that for the same length of Christmas film, PVC will produce longer artificial Christmas tree leaves than PET.

PE Christmas tree: The raw material of PE Christmas tree is PE particles, which are hot-melted by injection molding machine to form a fixed shape in the mold.

3. Way Of Binding Branches

There are two types of artificial Christmas tree branches, one is an artificial Christmas tree with hanging rings, and the other is an artificial Christmas tree without hanging rings.Branching branches is generally divided into two steps. The first step is the same, and the difference lies in the second step. At the beginning, the leaves of the artificial Christmas tree will be cut into small pieces of the same length, and the first step will be to tie them into small branches.

Artificial Christmas tree with hanging ring: This artificial Christmas tree needs to use hanging ring and hollow rivets. In the second step, this artificial Christmas tree will put the tied small branches into the fork hole of the hanging ring, and then fix it with hollow rivets. After each section is completed, the tree tubes are spliced together, and the artificial Christmas tree with hanging rings is completed.

Artificial Christmas tree without hanging ring: This artificial Christmas tree directly ties the small branches to the tree tube, and finally splices the artificial Christmas tree, and the artificial Christmas tree without hanging rings is completed.

In general, these three methods divide artificial Christmas trees into three categories based on the machinery used in production, the most basic raw materials, and the final splicing method. If you have any questions, please contact us and our professionals will answer them for you.
